[Case Study of Gusto's Introduction] Improvement of Thin-Walled Sections
The defect rate has decreased and inspection time has been shortened! Here we introduce a case study of defect measures using gastrose.
We introduced Gastose to improve short shots in the thin-walled sections of products used in connectors. By using Gastose, we were able to eliminate short shots, preventing mold contamination and extending maintenance intervals by three times. Additionally, the reduction in defect rates allowed us to shorten inspection times. 【Case Study】 ■ Objective: Improvement of short shots in thin-walled sections ■ Molding Information - Size: W10.5×D6×H6.2mm - Material: PA 66 (Amilan GF 20%) - Application: Connectors (mainly for home appliances) - Number of parts: 8 - Molding machine: 50 tons ■ Effects - Short shot defect occurrence rate: 1.43% → 0% - PL surface cleaning interval: 6H → Not needed - Disassembly cleaning interval: 5 days → 15 days - Inspection labor reduction: 4 sec → 0.2 sec *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
